ERRATUM

Teas J, Hurley TG, Hebert JR, Franke AA, Sepkovic DW, Kurzer MS (2009). Dietary seaweed modifies estrogen and phytoestrogen metabolism in healthy postmenopausal women. J Nutr. 139:939–944.

For the equation describing the inverse correlation between seaweed dose (mg/kg body weight) and serum estradiol (E2), the values for the slope and intercept were not corrected to SI units, and there is a missing negative sign before the r value. The correct equation is:

This error appears in 3 places: on page 939, in the abstract; on page 941, in the second paragraph under Serum hormones; and on page 942, in the legend of Figure 1.
