The Fractionation of Phosphorus Compounds in Certain Vegetables1

From these data one may conclude that the bulk of the phosphorus is in the inorganic form; that the organic fraction may be composed of widely varying amounts of resistant esters, and the phosphoroteins and phospholipids; and that there are no unavailable forms of phosphorus present in these vegetables.
