Dietary Requirements for Fertility and Lactation

XXXI. Further Studies on the Role of P-Aminobenzoic Acid and Inositol in Lactation and Growth of the Albino Rat1

p-Aminobenzoic acid has a markedly favorable influence on lactation of the albino rat. On the other hand, inositol has a pronounced injurious influence on lactation, which is counter-acted by p-aminobenzoic acid.
