The Choline Content of Feeds1

Divisions of Chemistry and Poultry Husbandry, Washington Agricultural Experiment Station, Pullman

The choline content of a number of feeds has been determined.

Cereals are poor sources of choline, and animal products are good sources.

There was a significant negative correlation between the choline content of the diet and the incidence of perosis in turkey poults.
